Cannot launch the Project files from EPM server

Hi Guys,

Our PMO team uses an EPM server from one of the company's we accuired. Now we rolled out a VDI solution using VMware VIEW. We are streaming MS Project 2010 as a ThinApp to some of the PMO users. When ever they try open a file the EPM Web Server, it does not do anything from the icon next to the project. Under the Open botton in the menu the Project 2010 is greyed out. This site is in the Trusted Intranet zones for IE. The only thing I can think of and I may be wrong is that the ThinApp is installed under C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft project (VMware ThinApp)\ folder.

Is EPM server looking for Project installation at the default location of C:\program files\microsoft office\office14\ ?
