How to give project managers read-only access to each others' projects while keeping full access to their own projects

Hi,

We have project server 2016 running on premise. RBS is setup to follow the organization's reporting structure. We would like to give project managers read-only access to each others' projects while keeping the full access to their own projects. Essentially, they need to see all projects in the organization to be aware of the workloads.

In order to accomplish this, I made the following changes in PWA:

  1. I modified "Project Managers" group andchanged the "Open Project" Permission to "Allow" for "My Organization" in "Categories" section.
  2. I modified "My Projects" category by deselecting the check-boxes for the permissions for "The User is on that project's Project Team" and "A resource on the project's Project Team is descendant of the User via RBS".

However, this does not provide the result that I was hoping to get. How can I make this happen?

Thank you in advance,
