Hello everyone,
I am encountering an issue in PS2013 where a user is made inactive in AD, in some cases that information does not seem to make it to PS. I end up with people who are "Inactive" in some cases and "active" but both are no longer with us and disabled in AD.
Some more details:
- When I edit each of those users, the Display Name and email, which are normally populated from D, are blank and greyed out. Subsequently, no changes can be made to the account in PS a since user cannot have a blank "Display Name"
- This does not seem to happen to all users as some are "Inactive" and disabled exactly as I would expect.
- On the bottom of the screen, the AD GUID has a number other than all zeroes (which I have seen on accounts which have become inactive correctly)
- All users are synchronized with AD groups and this information is updated. All users who are no longer with us have the groups removed and the field for "Groups that contain this user" is blank.
- The most puzzling piece is that each one of them has their name underlined with a red line and immediately below there is a message that "
Multiple entries matched, please click to resolve." When I click on the name, only one shows up but I still cannot save it since the "Display Name" is blank.
Has anyone seen this before? Any help is appreciated.
