I was wondering if someone could help.
I'm setting up a project in project server 2010 using PWA. I created the project, built a team and added tasks to the project. This is all works fine, tasks are assigned to relevant users.
The problem comes when users update their tasks , the task is sent for approval, then get's approved and the task is updated accordingly under the My Work -> Tasks view in PWA. However when i look at the over all project plan via Project Center -><Project Name> the work completed and remaining have not been updated.. this is a must for us as we will be using this to monitor a project and users workload.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? is there a simple tick box i've missed?
Also, one other quesion if i may. Is there a way to add to new task to a project that then get assigned later on by a PM. for example, if someone was to view the project viahttp://projectserver/pwa/projectname , could someone create a task that could be linked to the project plan? this would be very usesful.
