Administrator user denied permission on PWA project schedule page

Curious issue after upgrading from Project Server 2010 to Project Server 2013 (including October CU). After the upgrade a user that is part of the Administrators group that are again assigned to the My Organizations view suddenly gets 'You do not have sufficient permission"-error on PWA project schedule page. Other project detail pages can be viewed fine. We have of course double-checked security for group and category and the 'View Project Schedule in PWA'-right is set. There have been no changes made to the security during or after the upgrade. The view that this user had been using on the project schedule page is the 'Assignments Work'-view that have had no modifications done.

So it definitely looks like something has gone wrong during upgrade. I am fairly positive that if we could just change the view for this user to a standard task view it would again work, but as the ribbon is grayed out that is not possible.

Has anyone seen anything similar or have any tip to workaround and resolve this issue?

Regards, Stig
